NAMRU EURAFCENT Partners with Seek Labs to Advance Field-Deployable Technologies for Warfighter Readiness
These collaborations focus on advancing field-deployable diagnostic and therapeutic countermeasures that support force health protection and warfighter readiness.
Under a four-year agreement, NAMRU EURAFCENT will employ Seek Labs’ diagnostic and therapeutic platforms in operational environments, leveraging its expertise in clinical research and biosurveillance to deliver field-ready capabilities.

These capabilities are intended for forward environments, where rapid detection and effective treatment of infectious diseases can directly impact mission execution, safeguard deployed personnel and maintain operational readiness. They are specifically designed for use by U.S. military medical teams operating in resource-constrained operational environments.
The ability to identify emerging health threats in a timely manner enables senior leadership and medical personnel to make informed decisions that enhance force protection.

By integrating emerging technologies with operational research expertise, the collaboration aims to deliver scalable, field-ready solutions that enable the command to contribute directly to warfighter health protection and sustain operational effectiveness in diverse and challenging environments.
BioSeeker is Seek Labs’ artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML)-guided sequence intelligence engine designed to accelerate both diagnostic and therapeutic development. This technology identifies highly stable, essential genetic regions that are critical to pathogens’ survival and integrates these findings into a continuously evolving library of vital disease targets. Outputs can be advanced through the Programmable Target Ablation Platform (PTAP), which is designed to disrupt pathogen replication and support immune-assisted clearance.
